Golden Companion also offers a daytime dog walking service. Walks can run from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. You can also choose the option of having Trudi train your dog to walk nicely on a leash. That way when you want to take a nice leisurely walk with your dog, he will have the skills to walk politely! If you do choose to have your dog trained, you will receive a free 20 minute training session to learn how it's done. Remember, dogs aren't computers. They cannot be programed permanently. This requires consistent training from everyone in the family. But fear not! The training technique is fairly simple.

Dog walking hours are Monday through Friday, 10am - 4pm.

Dog Walking

An in-home evaluation is required before any services can begin. In-home evaluations are $25. However, if you purchase a walking service the evaluation will be free! Walking schedules need to be predetermined before the first walk. Choke chains, prong collars or any aversive equipment such as shock collars are not permitted during the walks or during any training.
